An introvert is a person who likes to be alone but becomes nervous and shy when with people around. Here is a list of signs of an introvert.
So in this social media age, anybody can be alone and yet can be with friends in the virtual online world. So even if anybody is an introvert they are able to make good online presence and can be a rock star extrovert when being online.
I am more of an introvert when it comes to being in parties and with people that I don’t have good rapport with. I clearly remember I was not very comfortable going in marriage functions with my Dad when I was kid if I knew none of my school friends will be around. So I always had my own excuses for not going with my Dad.
As of today also, I am very uncomfortable taking to someone just for the sake of it. In the complex that I live in, many people consider me as arrogant because I seldom talk to them just like that. They don’t understand that I am not good at starting a conversation but I take steps to make sure I just greet them and ask them how they are doing. It just helps me to make sure they don’t think I am arrogant.
Being introvert in the real world does not mean being introvert online as well and so lets see why introverts can be better at blogging and content marketing.
1. Introverts are better writers
Writing is something you do alone. It’s a profession for introverts who want to tell you a story but don’t want to make eye contact while doing it. – John Green
Introverts generally are better at communicating in writing than in person and so introverts inherently are better writers. So introverts can be better at blogging and online content marketing.
Blogging is not all about writing but being able to write is a good start to being a good blogger.
2. Introverts are better readers / listeners
Introverts are better being alone and more often than not being alone means they tend to read books to make them look busy. Better readers are always better at listening as well and to be a better blogger you should be a better listener and reader. Introverts are inherently better reader and listeners.
I know I am an introvert but then I hate reading storybooks but then I don’t hate reading books generally. I love reading books on niche I love like programming, finance or marketing.
3. Introverts are online extroverts
Introverts have energy drain when they have people around them but when it comes to online, introverts are quite comfortable as they don’t have people physically around them but they have people around them in an virtual online world. Introverts can easily communicate with others online and can become a social media rock-star. So an introvert is an online extrovert.
4. Introverts are more creative
In a party introvert can find place to be alone which is the result of creative mind. Some may not find it creative but able to find a corner in such an environment is creativity.
Introverts like to be alone and lonely mind is a place for creativity.
