In my post about Ways to Making Money Online in 2012 I shared how Adsense is not able to perform up to my expectations and Google’s Fourth Quarter Results confirms the same. Let us look into the Google Network revenues in the financial result of Google for 2011.

Google Network Revenues – Google’s partner sites generated revenues of $2.88 billion, or 27% of total revenues, in the fourth quarter of 2011. This represents a 15% increase from fourth quarter 2010 network revenues of $2.50 billion.

Now looking at the same figure for 2010

Google Network Revenues – Google’s partner sites generated revenues, through AdSense programs, of $2.50 billion, or 30% of total revenues, in the fourth quarter of 2010. This represents a 22% increase from fourth quarter 2009 network revenues of $2.04 billion.

1. Google’s partner sites accounted for 27% of 2011 Q4 earnings for Google but it was 30% of Google’s Q4 earnings in 2010.
2. Google’s partner sites revenue growth was only 15% compared to 22% last year.
3. Google has announced AdSense for Domains is retiring as well.

Paid clicks via AdWords & AdSense increased by 34% but Average cost per click decreased by 8% clearly suggesting that Google is trying to retain advertiser from going to Facebook or Microsoft’s Adcenter and so giving lot more clicks to advertiser’s at a lesser price.

In the new Google Analytics interface, you can see Real Time Traffic stats. Visit home tab from top and you will see the Real Time Stats link in the left sidebar right at the beginning.

If you don’t see the Real time stats in your account don’t get worried because it is only available to few publishers only.

Indian PayPal Accounts will be able to receive export-related payments of up to USD 3000 per transaction (Earlier it was USD 500 per transaction).

I am yet to get any official email from PayPal but found the details on the official PayPal website here

AdSense Ads will now feature the +1 button

Hello,

Old Google Analytics Interface only allowed linking single Adwords account to single Google Analytics account but the New Google Analytics Interface now supports linking multiple Google Adwords accounts to single Google Analytics account.

I have multiple Adwords account for my sites and the old interface created lot more challenges to tracking Adwords ROI for each of the website inside Google Analytics. New Google Analytics account settings area makes it easy to use auto-tagging with multiple Adwords accounts and import your Adwords data into each of your Google Analytics Site Profile.

I am sure lot of people have been waiting for this feature.

When withdrawing funds from PayPal I was not charged any withdrawal fees.

I don’t have any official announcement yet on this but this could be possible because I opted for Auto Withdrawal Option

When I tried withdrawing money from my PayPal account, found a notice for automatic withdrawal option. The only question I had related to automatic withdrawal was about the withdrawal fees and found the answer in FAQ and I quote

Type of withdrawal	PayPal fee
Auto withdrawals made to your bank account in India	None
Withdrawals that you make to your bank account in India	None

I enabled Automatic withdrawal option in my account.

Now when I tried withdrawing I still see the fees against my expectation of None.

As usual PayPal will take few months to get that implemented. So I did not complete the withdrawal to see how PayPal handles fees when automatically transferring funds to my bank account.

Google Vs Facebook Copyright Unknown

Yesterday Google stock (NASDAQ:GOOG) jumped 12% on the back of very good results and Google CEO Larry Page made a statement about Google+ and I quote

After two weeks of beginning their limited field trial of Google+ we have official numbers of 10 million Google Plus users, and 1 billion items being shared each day.

AdSense is turning eight tomorrow (See the official announcement here). I never realized until yesterday that I was using Adsense almost 13 months after it launched i.e. from July 15th 2004!
